RMA RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

Products returned for repair service must be assigned a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. If an RMA has not already been issued, it can be obtained by contacting AMREL at (800) 654-9838. The following information must be provided to obtain the RMA number:
- Model Number and Serial Number of the product.
- Date Purchased (Invoice Date).
- Detailed information regarding the reason for return.
- Return Shipping Address.
Warranty Service Policy
Products returned for warranty service should be shipped to AMREL, freight prepaid. Returns originating from outside the United States must be shipped to AMREL via door to door service. AMREL will repair and return via ground freight prepaid. Generally, most repairs can be completed within ten (10) working days. If the failure cannot be verified or duplicated, an evaluation fee ranging from $150.00 – $300.00 will be assessed. However, before any fee is charged, AMREL will make reasonable attempts to gather additional failure information to further diagnose the returned product. AMREL reserves the right to waive the evaluation fee, only under special circumstances. To avoid delays, sufficient information on the failure should be provided at the time of RMA issuance.
Non-Warranty Service Policy
Products returned for non-warranty service should be shipped to AMREL, freight prepaid. Returns originating from outside the United States must be shipped to AMREL via door to door service. Within five (5) working days after receipt, AMREL will evaluate the failure and provide a repair quote. The payment methods accepted are pre-approved NET 30 Terms, VISA, MasterCard, and AMEX cards. After repair approval/payment is received, generally, most repairs can be completed within (7) working days. If the repair approval/payment is not received within 30 days of quote date, an evaluation fee of $150-$300 will be assessed and the RMA will be shipped back “as is.” All out-of warranty repairs will receive a ninety (90) day extended warranty from the date of repair invoice. AMREL reserves the right not to repair out-of-warranty units if parts are discontinued or obsolete, in which case, the customer may be offered a trade-in credit valid toward the purchase of a replacement product.
Shipping Instructions
To avoid damage to the returned unit, it must be carefully packaged, preferably, in its original container. If the original container is not available, please use a rigid box with adequate cushioning materials for insulation.
