AMREL Releases the First Truly Programmable Controller
Allows for Direct Connection to Network/Internet

RELIANCE, INC. introduces the first MCU Controller with an integrated
keypad, flywheel encoder and VFD screen to enable remote monitoring
and controlling of multiple devices. In addition, the MCU also provides
unlimited master/slave capabilities for not only AMREL's linear and
switching power supplies but also their air and water-cooled electronic
loads.
AMREL's MCU is the only controller with the functionality to provide advanced system management. When troubleshooting from a remote test location, the MCU can access and program information without the necessity to return to the system's central monitoring and control center. The ability to troubleshoot a problem device right on the spot, and conduct test measurements to ensure that the unit is functioning properly immediately afterwards, will reduce system downtime saving both time and money.
In addition, AMREL's control system not only has the means to achieve unlimited master/slave configurations to address higher power requirements, but at the same time the system's trigger capability will continue to provide full system synchronization.
A single MCU can access eight slave units via Ethernet interfaces and host interface allows for GPIB, USB, RS232 or Ethernet, providing network security features that not only support TCP/IP but also a proprietary UDP (User Datagram Protocol) for higher throughput.
