As a long standing member of AMREL’s eLOAD line, the PEL series of air-cooled programmable electronic loads are suitable for almost any application requiring a low-wattage dc power load. Wide Range of Models

The PEL programmable electronic load is available in a wide selection of voltage and current ratings. The voltage ratings can be as low as 60V, which operates at full current below 1V, and as high as 600V. The standard current dissipation of these units can be as high as 120Amps, but will reach higher levels when units are paralleled. These eLOAD programmable loads come in the following wattage ratings: 60W, 150W, 300W, and 600W.

Operation Below 1V

The PEL design allows the electronic load to operate at low voltage levels and will typically dissipate full rated current at less than 1V.

Closed-case Calibration

With AMREL’s eLOAD line, there’s no longer a need to send a unit back to the factory for calibration or remove dozens of screws to reach a potentiometer. Simply follow the AMREL calibration routine from the front panel and you should be back up and running in a very short period of time (some electronic test equipment needed). Closed-case calibration virtually eliminates annual down time and shipping expense associated with factory calibration.

RS-232 and GPIB IEEE-488 Standard

The PEL programmable electronic load includes both RS-232 and GPIB IEEE-488 standard. Connectors for both are provided on the rear of the unit and instructions for configuring are in the manual.

Dynamic Power Profile

The PEL programmable electronic load provides the user with the capability to program 99 points of voltage, current, or power.  This feature also includes 256 points of recording and printing as well as real time date stamping.

Customization

AMREL’s outstanding team of engineers can provide customizations and modifications to any PEL programmable electronic load.  Customizations can range from simple modifications such as a different front panel color to a completely custom electro-mechanical design.
