AMREL's eLOAD line of programmable electronic loads is quickly becoming the industry's load of choice for many power supply test stations. They play an integral part of the essential test set, which includes:
- Load Transient Recovery
- Current Time Limit Characterization
- Short Circuit Operation
- Efficiency
- Start up Time
- Source Effect (line regulation)
- Programming Response Time
- PARD
- Power Factor
- Voltage Latch-up
- Over voltage Shutdown
- Drift
With standard models ranging from 600W to18kW, up to1200Vdc and 1500Amps, combined with a rear panel designed for easy installation and integration, AMREL's eLOAD electronic loads provide solutions for most ATE system requirements. Customizations are available.
AMREL's eLOAD line of programmable electronic loads is used to test a wide variety of high power batteries. Tests include: capacity, internal impedance, capacity retention, discharge rate, and lifecycle testing. In addition, AMREL's ePOWER line of programmable dc power supplies is used to charge batteries in systems being developed internally. The use of both AMREL's eLOAD and ePOWER supplies in the same test station not only provides AMREL's customers with the convenience of using only one outsource but also eliminates compatibility issues.
Solar Panels have consistently suffered from very low efficiency. By using eLOAD’s constant current and constant power modes, R&D groups can test cells and then validate their research in new, hi-efficiency materials. AMREL's eLOAD line is used to certify both Thin Film Solar Panels and Solar Concentrator/High Energy Solar Modules.
