As a member of the ePOWER line of programmable dc power supplies, the HPS series of high power switching power supplies offers a wide range of cabinet mounted models from 20kW to150kW+.  Voltage ranges are available from 10V to 2500V and current ratings up to 7500A as standard. Systems are available in 22” and 48” wide cabinet enclosures. However, should your power supply requirements differ from the standard product offering, ask about AMREL’s customization options designed to fit your unique application needs up to 900kW+. HPS Spec/Models

Extensive Product Offering

The HPS series offers one of the most extensive product offerings of any dc switching power supply line on the market.  With over 100 different models in countless voltage and current combinations, the HPS series has a unit to fit almost any dc power supply application.  Standard wattage ranges are:  20kW, 30kW, 40kW, 50kW, 60kW, 100kW and 150kW.  Should you require lower power ranges, the ePOWER SPS Series of rackmount switch mode power supplies range from 1.2kW-45kW .

Closed-case Calibration

With the ePOWER line, there’s no longer a need to send your switch mode power supply back to the factory for calibration or remove dozens of screws to reach a potentiometer.  Simply follow the AMREL calibration routine from the front panel and you should be back up and running in a very short period of time (some electronic test equipment needed).  This will virtually eliminate down time and eradicate the annual cost associated with shipping your switching power supply back to the factory for calibration.

Programmable Protection

The HPS series offers programmable protection for over-voltage and over-current.  Both programmable protection features are available through the front panel as well as the computer interfaces.

RS-232 and GPIB IEEE-488 Standard

All HPS high power switch mode supplies come with both RS-232 and GPIB IEEE-488 standard.  Connectors for both are provided on the rear of the unit and instructions for configuring are in the manual.

Ethernet and USB (optional)

The HPS series of programmable dc switching power supplies are also available with an optional Ethernet and USB interface. This option is field upgradeable by the end user with minimal effort.

High Efficiency and Power Factor

The ePOWER line of high power switching power supplies were designed for high efficiency and power factor.  With an efficiency specification of 90% and a power factor greater than 0.9 the HPS is ideal for all high power applications.

Customization
