Today AMREL™Corporation is comprised of three divisions: AMREL™ Power Products Division (PD), AMREL™ Computer Division (CD), and AMREL™ Medical COMPUTER Division (MD). In addition, AMREL's subsidiary, Bionetek Corporation™, is responsible for the development and manufacturing of the patent pending CARDX™ early cardiac diagnostic systems. Other corporate business relationships include Solarmer Energy; a long-term strategic partner of AMREL’s, Solarmer is the developer of a patent pending process for manufacturing more cost effective and efficient translucent, flexible polymer solar cell.

As AMREL’s first division, AMERICAN RELIANCE’s Power Products Division (PD) set a high standard for its industry competitors.  Since 1985, ARI has been dedicated to the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of high quality, cost effective programmable power supplies and electronic loads for the Industrial and Military ATE markets.  Today we are proud to offer the world’s widest selection of high quality programmable power products on the market; along with custom designs and modifications made to address our customers’ unique requirements.

As the first company to introduce the notebook computer to the American market in January of 1991, our Computer Division has become a leading manufacturer of fully rugged mobile computing solutions within our respective markets including the Military, Robotics, Biometrics, Public safety, and Field Service markets.  AMREL’s fully rugged computer lines include, Military and Industrial Grade notebooks, tablets, PDAs, and three-piece in-vehicle fixed computers.

AMREL’s computer designs have repeatedly set new standards in the rugged mobile computing industry. Our ROCKY was the industry’s FIRST Pentium® powered, fully water resistant, rugged notebook computer - earning the prestigious “Best New Product Award” at Fose in 1996. Incredibly, since then our ROCKY Rugged Computer Line has gone on to claim another eight “FIRSTS” to market within the rugged computer industry.

Established in 2007, AMREL’s Medical Division (MD) designs and manufactures innovative new 60601 fully rugged, medical computing platforms that are expected to set new standards within the medical computer industry.
