AMREL INTRODUCES ALPHA-STAR™ SRL New Technology Reduces Computer Screen Glare by 93%

Always a leader in the field of ruggedized mobile computing for the law enforcement community, AMREL Systems, Inc. announced it's latest advance in technology, the ALPHA-STAR™ Sunlight Readable LCD.

Using a three-phase process involving Electronic & Passive Enhancement the new ROCKY II+ boasts a reduction of reflective screen glare by 93%. Amazingly, the process also increased the screen contrast to 300% while extending the wide-angle view to 140 degrees.

And the ROCKY II+ offers both office and vehicle docking which was specifically designed to be  extremely user-friendly. The 'hot-swap' docking solution feature makes connectivity/mounting just a couple of quick snaps.

Add to all this a Pentium® II 300MHz and expandable RAM to 256MB and the ROCKY II+ becomes a most powerful tool in the crime fighters arsenal.
