Historically, AMREL’s Sunlight readable Rugged Displays and keyboards were only available in conjunction with AMREL’s own line of ROCKY mobile computers. In response to an ever growing demand for a non-proprietary version, the UniSOL line was developed. Many of AMREL’s existing customers wanted the ability to use AMREL’s UniSOL Rugged Display and keyboard with products they already owned. The UniSOL Sunlight readable Rugged Display was designed to answer this request.  Further, the UniSOL can be used with any manufacturers’ computer that has an RGB, USB, Serial and sound interfaces. AMREL’s UniSOL fully rugged keyboard works with any standard USB interface.
