ROCKY Rugged Notebook Computer and AMREL Dockunder Solution

Sierra Madre’s Police Department demanded a rugged, reliable and field proven mobile computing system backed by a long-term customer service commitment. The ROCKY Pentium III 500Hz CPU, 12.1” Alpha Star Sunlight Readable Touchscreen, Backlit Keyboard, 128MB RAM, 6GB HDD, Internal CDPD Modem, Swappable CD ROM and FDD, Vehicle Docking with Antenna, and Window 2000 Professional OS met their requirements. Mobile computing solution was successfully deployed in 2001.
