MIL-STD 810F, Method 506.4 Procedure II - Nozzle pressure no less than 276 Kpa (40 psig or 2.78 Kg/cm²). The five surfaces (top, front, rear, left, right) of test item subjected to rainfall; six surfaces including the bottom are tested for the DA4-I. The duration of exposure per face is not less than 40 minutes.
Salt Fog - Unlimited RK7-I & Ulimited RT7-I Notebook, Apex DR7-I Tablet, Mobile MT7-I System Unit, DA4-I PDA
MIL-STD 810F, Method 509.4 - Temperature increase to 35°C (95°F) for at least 2 hours before introducing salt fog with concentration of 5± 1%. Fallout rate between 1 and 3 ml/80cm²/hr. Exposure period, 24 hours, followed by 24 hours drying period at standard ambient temperature and relative humidity of 50%± 5%.
Immersion - DA4-I PDA
MIL-STD 810F, Method 512.4 Procedure I - Test item heated to 27°C higher than the water temperature for at least two hours before immersion test. Immersed in water so that the uppermost point of test item is 1±0.1m below the surface of water. Duration of Immersion is 2 hours.
IP – INDUSTRIAL STANDARD TEST
Dust IP-54 Unlimited RK7-I & Ulimited RT7-I Notebook, Apex DR7-I Tablet , Mobile MT7-I System Unit, MT7-I Keyboard, DA4-I PDA
(IP-54) IP5X, TEST IEC 60529 - The dust test called for units to be placed in a 1m³ dust test chamber and subjected to Talcum dust equaling 2kg/m³. The test was conducted for 8 hours. After the test, units were fully functional.
Dust IP-67 DA4-I PDA (optional)
(IP-67) IP6X, TEST IEC 60529 - The DA4-I’s max. depression was tested at -20mbar for an 8 hour period.
Water IP-54 Unlimited RK7-I & Ulimited RT7-I Notebook, Apex DR7-I Tablet, Mobile MT7-I System Unit, Unisol MT7-I Display, MT7-I Keyboard, DA4-I PDA (IP-54) IPX4, TEST IEC 60529 - The spray water test challenged the unit to withstand 10 minutes of continuous water flow. Water flowed at a rate of 1.8L/min from 25 different spray nozzles. After the test, units were fully functional.

(IP-67) IPX7, TEST IEC 60529 - The bottom of the specimen is 1.0m beneath the surface of water for test duration of 30 minutes.
