A smaller, more compact version of AMREL's highly successful ROCKY Mobile Fixed On-Board 3 Piece Computer, the Mobile Junior's fixed on-board design easily addresses situations where space is a major factor. The Junior is a cost-effective solution for applications requiring basic functionality without the numerous expansion capabilities offered by AMREL's current ROCKY Mobile. 
Weighing in at less than 4lbs., with a 9.8 x 7.4 form factor, the Mobile Junior's CPU unit is one of the lightest and most compact rugged fixed on-board computers on the market. Offering the same unique DVI interface capabilities as the current Mobile, the Junior's single cable DVI makes installation clean, fast and easy. AMREL's rugged, 12.1" XGA ultra high brightness touchscreen display, is another unique feature the Junior shares with its larger counterpart. Space conscious mounting solutions are available for the Junior, including an optional docklight for increased port availability, and secondary display capabilities. Just as the standard Mobile's 3 display capabilities have set it apart from its competitors, AMREL expects their Junior's multiple display capability will be an important and unique selling point as well.
Ruggedized to IP-54 for dust and water resistance, and compliant to MIL-STD 810F for resistance to extreme temperatures, the Junior's display and keyboard will withstand even the harshest in-vehicle elements. AMREL's compact Mobile Junior with its powerful Pentium M Processor provides the capability for multiple displays, up to 4 Serial Ports and 2GB of Ram Memory, ergonomically friendly installation with single DVI cable, universal (non proprietary) 1300 nits display, as well as an internal back-up battery for fail-safe power protection, all in a small, compact and incredibly cost effective package.
