EL MONTE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/21/2005 -- AMREL/American Reliance, Inc. will introduce their new Programmable Switching Power Supply with Embedded Ethernet (SPSE model) at Autotestcon 2005.
The SPSE is AMREL's first 1.2kW Switching Power Supply with a fully functional keypad as well as an embedded Ethernet interface. The SPSE 1.2kW ranges from 8 to 600Vdc, and 2 to 150Adc. AMREL's e-POWER line of Programmable Linear (PD Series) and Switching Power Supplies (SPS & HPH Series), offers one of the widest selections of power supplies on the market today. With the release of this latest SPSE model, AMREL's customers have even more choices, including the high speed capabilities associated with Ethernet technology.
The addition of the SPSE to AMREL's line allows engineers to capitalize on the affordability, flexibility, fast implementation, and ease-of-manageability associated with Ethernet technology; advantages not offered by many of AMREL's competition and traditional GPIB systems. The SPSE assists customers in the demands of high-speed communication, delivering a more effective transmission of large volumes of data. As with all AMREL products, the SPSE offers numerous device connection options and custom scalability to allow for a unique choice of programmable power supplies. In conjunction with AMREL's MCU-2 Controllers, the SPSE can be connected to provide virtually unlimited expansion capabilities.
Designed to offer exceptional programming capabilities, equipped with a standard keypad and encoder, the SPSE has one of the most user friendly front panel control available today, allowing for easy programming. The SPSE incorporates parallel capability with automatic current sharing. In addition to Ethernet, the SPSE has closed-case calibration, a low profile/high power density of 1U high (1.2kw), GPIB/SCPI, RS-232 and USB.
