Featuring the latest Digital Visual Interface (DVI) as a standard video output, the RK-M is able to establish a 100% digital connection to both flat panel displays and the latest DVI-equipped digital projection systems. Proprietary Alpha-Star™ Display Technology
AMREL developed the proprietary Alpha-Star™ SRL display technology to address the need for better screen visibility while working under bright sunlight conditions. Alpha-Star™ significantly increases screen images and contrast while reducing reflective glare for maximum readability under bright conditions. The Alpha-Star™ display is also available with an optional "resistive touch-screen" (except 17" RF model) capable of interaction with both a stylus and finger for added convenience.
MIL-STD-810F Certified
A fully rugged notebook must be equipped to operate under a variety of extreme conditions. The ROCKY fully rugged computers are MIL-STD-810F and IP54 certified. This standard ensures our rugged laptops are resistant to rain, dust, shock, humidity, vibration, salt fog, altitude and extreme temperatures.
The combination of the MIL-STD-810F and IP54 certifications make AMREL's rugged computers virtually indestructible and immune to the elements.
MIL-STD-461 Certified
AMREL's military grade rugged notebook computers are MIL-STD-461E certified for electromagnetic interference shielding by independent testing labs. AMREL's proprietary "dock under" system enables the RT rugged laptops to be easily mounted and dismounted from vehicles of all types. With multiple expansion capabilities, including a choice of two USB ports or two PCI ports, users experience greater device configuration options.
